This invigorating salt scrub for muscle relief is a great detoxifier and muscle soother. The minerals in sea salt are easily absorbed through the skin, and the warming effect of the cinnamon helps with blood circulation through the tissues. Eucalyptus is detoxifying, invigorating and anti-microbial as well. Lavender is soothes mind, body and spirit while it gently moves stagnant energy.
Total Prep Time: 5 minutes
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup coconut oil
- 1 cup sea salt
- 5 drops eucalyptus essential oil
- 5 drops lavender essential oil
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
Preparation:
Place the 1 cup sea salt in a glass bowl {here’s the one I like}.
Add the coconut oil, mixing well with a wooden spoon or a chopstick. The texture should be moist enough to hold together, but not too oily. Adjust the amount of oil if necessary.
Add the essential oils & cinnamon and mix well.
That’s it! Your invigorating salt scrub for muscle pain relief is ready to use. I recommend leaving it on in the shower or bath for a few minutes before rinsing for muscle soreness. Simply apply it to whatever area needs it the most. For stubborn pain, use both morning and night.
