Looking for any easy and effective way to ease muscle soreness? Whether its from an intense workout, an injury, or an old ache that surfaces every time it rains, peppermint has an affinity for the muscle layer of the body. Application of this easy-to-make muscle balm will create a relaxing effect that will in turn relax your whole being.

INGREDIENTS:

1/8 cup coconut oil {get it here}

1/8 cup beeswax {get it here}

15-20 drops peppermint essential oil {get it here}

OR 1/8 cup fresh mint leaves from your garden

1 small wide-mouthed mason jar {like this} 

HOW TO PREPARE:

FRESH MINT VERSION:

Simmer the coconut oil and beeswax until fully melted and mixed together – 5-10 minutes. Place your leaves in the food processor until fully transformed into a mushy pulp. Add 2 TBS water to your food processor as needed. Turn off the heat on your oil-wax combo and mix in your mint leaves thoroughly. Immediately transfer to a small wide-mouthed mason jar.

ESSENTIAL OIL VERSION:

Simmer the coconut oil and beeswax until fully melted and mixed together – 5-10 minutes. Transfer to a small wide-mouthed mason jar.
Stir in the peppermint essential oil until it is thoroughly mixed in.

KEEP IN THE FRIDGE. USE FREELY & APPLY OFTEN.
